What’s a subscription-based data agency ?

We are in October 2024, and with a few senior data analyst freelancer we started talking about the subscription-based design agencies.


A new business model that seems more organic, money-saver and fitted for a lot of customers. So we decided, why not applied this business model to a data agency ?

These past years as a freelance data analyst, I thought a lot about launching my own agency to answer my customers’ needs as perfectly as possible, but I was lacking a piece to really disrupted the approach.

But first, what’s a subscription based model ?

Hiring a data analyst might not be the easiest option to start, but paying a freelance can be even more expensive. Plus, the budget of a small or medium company could afford a junior data analyst but not a senior.

What I’ve noticed in my previous experience is that having a senior data analyst handling the data project is mandatory because junior has still a lack of structure and data architecture and data is not yet a topic master by everyone in the company.
